Depending on the type of flowers that the bee visit,
one Obtains different types
of honey and therefore also different colours, fragrances and
therapeutic contents.
Average composition of honey: Water 18%, sugars 80% (fructose and
glucose)saccharose1 %,maltose, aminoacids, organic acid, minerals
(calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, copper, boron,
phosphorus, zinc, iodine, sodium, silicic, ecc.) vitamins (B1, B2, B3,
B5, B6, B8,PP, C, E, D), pollin and (wax) residual.
"Dolcetna" produces honey from the flowers of:
Oranges, Lemons, flower essences, "Sulla" (a Sicilian
flower), Chestnuts, Eucalyptus and from the essences of flowers that
grow at a high altitude on Etna
(2000 metres above sea level in the Park of Etna).
Packaged in glass jars of: 28, 250, 500 and 900 grams. |
